Easy Fitness and Beauty Solutions...Now Available

My favorite blogger posted this on Facebook the other day. Don't get your panties in a wad if that link didn't lead to you...I love you and your blog, too...but she is special. She is the reason why I am here. She is a lovely person, inside and out. And I could seriously use some beauty tips. This video is thoroughly enlightening...and entertaining.

Some celebrities may have teams of trainers and macrobiotic chefs to help them get in shape and look superfit, and some celebrities have teams of make-up and hair personnel. And let's not forget the nannies. But there is one thing that is nearly universally used to create "the look"of the beautiful people we see on the covers of magazines as we wait in line at the grocery store.

Available to all of us now for much less expense is this beauty and fitness trick whose tagline is...

"Transform your look the way celebrities do with this beauty industry secret that's now available for the first time ever!"

While they make is sound so easy, I've tried it and it's not easy. I think I'll stick to eating well and exercising. And be mired in imperfection.

  1. I watched this video yesterday also and loved it. No one looks as "perfect" as the cover shots on magazines. We need to love ourselves no matter what "flaws" we have. I was having a hard time embracing all of my baggy skin on my upper arms after losing weight until I heard a woman speak after being burned badly. She spoke of the same thing with her scars. She is not embarrassed by them any longer and does not try to hide because they are a badge of courage and bravery for what she has gone through in this life. Wouldn't that be wonderful if we could love those imperfections that we have and truly be proud of how we look. I need to be more kind to myself and love me more. A very eye opening and real video. Thanks for sharing.

  2. lol, I saw this on one of my friends facebook posts, simply hilarious! My favorite part is that they accentuated the accent on "Adobe" to make it sound french or sophisticated or something, haha

  4. Everyone is beautiful in their own way! I interpret for photography classes so I definitely know that PS is used often, but sometimes the photos with the imperfections are better than those that are PSed to death!

  7. Ha, that's great. I'm using Photoshop right now in fact - to, you know, do other stuff, like stick my bosses face on the neck of a unicorn. From experience, the blending tool is very useful for this.

  9. I need some serious Fotoshop in my life. Too bad it doesn't really work that way! And too bad it works so well on cover models. I think it's given all us girls a complex!

  12. This is awesome. Not enough of people (especially women) realize how heavily altered the pictures on those magazine covers are.
