Three Things Thursday

Succumbing to cheesy alliteration, I bring you these three completely unrelated things in one neat, little post:

1)  My husband, who is the real family photographer, also took some great shots on that walk:

A close-up of the turtle that captivated their interest.

That cute from-the-back scene from his point of view.

And proof that grown-ups can stand on that rock, too.

2)  Yesterday was Day #3 in my great quest. And I didn't even run. I rode my bike. Cross-training. Embrace it :)

3)  We just had an EARTHQUAKE!!!! 3.9 on the Richter Scale. I jumped into the doorway but then realized that maybe I was supposed to go under the desk :P  Anyway, I made it through unscathed. Whew.

  1. What's the irony of having a real quake on the day of the statewide quake drill? Glad it was a small one.

  2. I love cheesy alliteration even more than I love parentheses and actual cheese. Any bit of an earthquake freaks me out. Glad you survived.

  9. Fun photos, the last being my favorite. Here is a page I wrote on earthquake safety (http://www.squidoo.com/earthquake-safety). I used to teach an earthquake safety class.
