Musique pour Mercredi

He is not french.  And there are no french words in the song.  But...  his last name is french sort of... and this is from a concert in Montreux, and they speak french in Montreux.  So because I like this song, it is determined that there is enough of a french connection for it be presented on Musique pour Mercredi.  It is, after all, my blog ;-)

Dude has some grody teeth there, wouldn't you agree?

Do you enjoy live music?  Big venues or small?

–While I do like live music, I have to admit that I am really sensitive to LOUD music so I usually have a kind of hard time really enjoying it as much as I would like.  Big or small?  Depends on the band and the specific venue... but the spectacle of big stars in a big venue is, well, pretty spectacular!

Have you been to many big concerts?

–No, less than a handful.  But the ones I went to were pretty fun... Prince, Tina Turner, James Brown, Grateful Dead...

  1. I also don't like loud music, it gives me a severe HA and yikes, then I'm pretty miserable. I've seen Tom Petty and Elton John when I first moved to Colorado...and back in the WAY college days, I saw The Police (bahahah, that ages me), Stevie Nicks, and get this...The Rolling Stones - all played at my college. :)

  4. I've worked at a small venue and got paid to see the Violent Femmes in the late 80's. As to big shows, the Dead in Eugene, Monsters of Rock at the King Dome, and the Who, are some of my favorite memories.

  5. Most fun is usually outdoor music festivals - the party never ends.

    Big concerts - never.

Usually smaller venues - stages in the back of bars and the like.
