Sometimes it's the little things that bring the greatest pleasure....
I love this gadget. Not only is it very useful in making a really tedious and messy job much easier and neater, but it is just super cool-looking. And small. Which adds to its coolness...
Do I tell you how many crass jokes were running through my mind while I was giving my little spiel? Confession Time... I had to do a second take (I have only done that once before when Q-Man interrupted a filming) ... off-color remarks just popped out in the first take... I couldn't hold them back :P ... and this is a family-friendly blog.
A mind is a terrible thing to leave in the gutter.
I LOVE this one and now want to add that to my want list along with that cool garlic peeler! I'm so over cutting cherries open for Coben and trying to dig the pit out.
ReplyDeleteI must have an innocent mind (very rare) because I could not think of a single off-color joke to go along with your pitter. Do share!!!
Yay, you might have done something to fix my posting problem. Or it's a random coincidence that it was fixed after I said something. This is the first time I have posted without any problems! YAY!!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I want to know how you have actually come up with 23 of these fascinating tools! Second, I want take one. Family friendly-baah humbug! My mind is quite comfortable in the gutter:) Have a great day:)
ReplyDeleteWow! I eat cherries all the time - we even vacation yearly in Northern Michigan - cherry country - and I have never seen a cherry pitter. I need to open my eyes more often I guess.
ReplyDeleteYou make me laugh with your gutter humor. Hope you had a great GNO last night!! :)
I've got this awesome apple/potato peeler that is similar. To peel and core an apple, you set it one way or to peel a potato, you set it a different way and it's a hand cranked doo-hickey! I love gadgets that make life easier - love the cherry pitter!
ReplyDeleteI really hope that you didn't delete the Director's Cut version of that. Because, I know where *my* mind took the cherry pitter, and I'm betting that we are pretty close. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI will sit and pit cherries for and hour or so in order to make a cherry pie. There is no substitute for real cherries instead of the nasty cherry filling from a can.
Wow, I need one of those! Perhaps a cherry-pitter give away?...
ReplyDeleteI'm totally stealing that last line . . . ."A mind is a terrible thing to leave in the gutter."
ReplyDeleteloving. it.
what a great idea! Definitely need one of those - I'm forever handing the kids half eaten cherries because I have to de-pit. Nice, huh? And I totally want to hear some of those off color jokes next time...:)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this gadget! I have never seen a cherry pitter. I have a bag of cherries in the frig, so I'm going out to look for one of these right now. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteGreat gadget for pies! Would have loved to have seen the first take :)
ReplyDeleteHa! one I do have!
ReplyDeleteI also want take 1
